Upgrade your clothes and gear in style! Patch, cover and tune - Vaatelaastari® attaches easily by rubbing, anywhere and anytime. Vaatelaastari® is an innovative patch for Finnish mothers that eliminates the need for repair sewing, or moves it. Vaatelaastari® are designed and manufactured in Finland.

Clothing Patches® are suitable for patching sweatpants, sweatpants, shoes, chairs and backpacks, for example. The product is suitable for both flexible and non-elastic textiles and also for many underwear!

Vaatelaastarir® is knitted to be flexible in Finland. The textile is 100% flexible recycled polyester, the raw material of which is plastic bottle waste. Black Patches® are dyed through. The knit does not contain elastane. Vaatelaastar® glue meets the requirements set for textile products in the EU and does not contain solvents or ingredients of animal origin. The bag's raw material is renewable sugar cane. Vaatelaastari® is a so-called carbon footprint product, i.e. it extends the life of the repaired object and reduces its carbon footprint.  

Setting and fastening

Remove the Vaatelaastar® from its backing a short distance, always from the fabric side. Place the exposed part on the item to be repaired without touching the adhesive surface and slide off the backing paper. If the hole is large, attach the Vaatelastari to the other side as well. You can pinch the small hole closed. Fasten by rubbing e.g. with a spoon for 1-2 minutes. Remember to follow the instructions for use!

Washing instructions

Washing instructions max. 40 degrees, withstands tumble drying and ironing, no bleaching or rinsing and stain removers such as vinegar or bile soap. Remember to match the washing instructions of Vaatelaastar® and the Textile to be patched.

Allow Vaatelaastar® to set for at least 3 days before the first watering or washing.

Noteworthy

Vaatelaastari® is suitable for most textiles. Textiles that are coated or contain a lot of chemicals, such as fabric softeners, may have a lower washability. Due to the large number of variables, it is not possible to make an exact promise about the washing duration. At its best, Vaatelaastari® lasts for years in place, in use and in washing. At the very least, if used correctly, it should last several washes without coming off. Slight creasing of the edges over time is a characteristic of adhesive patches. If desired, the edges can be cut with clean scissors.
