No Flowers is the work of entrepreneur Jenni Alava. Each letter of the Ryskaunokki is hand-drawn and purchasing the products supports the operations of the Alava Shop.
'No rain No flowers' originated in Jenni Alava's own garden last hot and dry summer in the fells. Taking care of flowers and herbs daily served as a counterbalance to the pressures of recent entrepreneurship and a kind of recovery rite. As a result of the dry summer, only the Cornflower flower out of many plantings and drawing them provided a tool for stress management.
