The checkout payment service forwards your payment to Alava Shop Oy. If Checkout Finland Oy appears on your statement or credit card invoice, they have forwarded your payment.

Alava Shop Oy operates as a marketer of products and services and as a supplier of products to the customer. Our online store takes care of the legal obligations related to the transaction as well as other obligations we have defined ourselves. If you want to complain or return the product, contact the online store where the product was ordered directly.

 

Bank charges

You have payment buttons for all Finnish banks at your disposal. You can pay with the payment buttons of Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Bank, Säästöpankki, S-pank and Ålandsbanken. Checkout Finland Oy appears on your account statement as the payee, they forward your payment to Alava Shop. From the online store, you will be directed directly to your own bank to make the payment securely.

Credit card payments

You can pay in the online store with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard and American Express cards. The online store uses international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey authentication services. Checkout appears as the payee on the card invoice and forwards the payment card payment paid by the customer directly to the merchant. Card payments are made securely with a secure payment form and payment card information is not stored in e-commerce systems.

 

Mobile payment methods

Mobile payment methods Pivo, MobilePay and Transfer are services that work in the application, with which you can pay for online purchases by bank transfer from your account or by card payment from your card by accepting the payment in that application. Pivo also accepts Transfer payments, so the payment can be accepted in any application that supports Transfer.

Invoicing and installment services

Invoice and installment services through Checkout are provided by Collector.

Refund

Our payment service provider Checkout Finland handles all payment transactions between the customer and the company. The money is transferred to the payment service provider and from there to the seller company. In the case of returns, the money is returned by Checkout Finland according to the return registered by the seller company.

When we receive the returned product, we register the return with Checkout Finland, which in turn refunds the money to the customer. In the case of an invoice, you will receive an updated invoice in your email. If for any reason the refund cannot be made in the above ways, we will ask the customer for an account number and refund the refund directly to the account.
