Mary Jane Mucklestone is an American knitwear designer, teacher and author, who specializes in Fair Isle embroidery.Her work has been published in international magazines such as Vogue Knitting and Interweave Knits and in numerous books.

Mary Jane has a diverse background in the arts and textiles. She holds a BA in Fine Arts and has studied fashion and historical costume. Fair Isle Weekend is her Fifth Book.
